This is a performance work and its documentation about a skin swaying and shifting. There is a raw canvas in the middle, it has a camera on one side and a projector on the other. The image of me performing in front of the camera is projected on the opposite side of the canvas simultaneously. Even though the camera and the projector are connected, there is a short time gap between the projected image and myself now moving. It takes time for the mental events such as one’s own thoughts and feelings to emerge in the form of physicality — the body, and the skin. The skin reflects myself in a given time frame and changes over time.
これは揺れ動き移り変わる肌を表したパフォーマンス作品及びドキュメンテーションである。キャンバス地を用い、一方にはカメラ、そしてその反対側にはカメラと繋げたプロジェクターがあり、カメラの前でパフォーマンスをする私が反対の面に同時に投影されている。
カメラとプロジェクターを繋げても、投影されるイメージといま動いている私にはズレが生じる。身体は、皮膚は、自分自身の考えていることや感じていることなど、精神的な事象が肉体に浮き上がってくるまでに時間を要するのだ。皮膚は時間をかけて自分自身を反映し、移り変わっていく。
